Plan Your Yard

Design

What will you need in your yard? Do you like to entertain? Do you cook outdoors frequently? Do you like having dinner outside? Think about your dream yard, and then let's put it on a plan. We can work with an existing design, if you have one, or we can help you with this process. Here are some examples of our past designs. We create 2D designs to get an idea of the price for the landscape project. These designs are for the contractor's use only, but can be purchased if you would want to get comp

2D and 3D Designs

After creating a 2D plan view drawing to make sure the layout appeals to the client, a 3D layout can be created.

3D designs give you a better idea of spacing and flow of traffic throughout the landscape.

Hardscape

Find inspiration. It starts with the base of the landscape: the patios.

Concrete

Concrete has come a long way. It's not only for driveways and side yards.

Pavers

Pavers continue to gain popularity. With so many choices, you can create anything from a modern to a more rustic feel.

Natural Stone

Natural stone is always appealing. Some stone don't need a concrete base, simply a compacted base rock foundation.

Walls

Do you need to level an area to make room for the patio? A seat wall around the perimeter of the patio works well

Travertine and Tile

Travertine is a natural material, while tile is man made. They are usually both squares or rectangles, set in patterns.

Gravel and Decomposed Granite

If you feel like you're adding too much hardscape, but still need another walkway or a large driveway, gravel is a great option.

Decks

Natural or synthetic, decks are a great solution to annoying tree roots that keep lifting up pavers, and a beautiful addition to a modern landscape which is in need of some softening. Any elevated steps are also easiest built with wood.

Pergolas and Covered Roofs

Secondly - do you need to add any shade or cover?

Covered Roofs

For full protection against both sun and rain, a covered roof will add an entire extra room for you to you at any time of the year.

Pergolas

If you don't need to cover an area entirely, you can choose to include a pergola. Although not water proof, you will still get some shade, and a structure to hang any lighting fixtures needed.

Entertainment Areas

What do you want to do in your back yard for fun? Cooking? Serving drinks? Swimming or playing sports?

Outdoor Kitchens

The best part of any yard. Plan it so you can use it as much as possible. This is our favorite addition to any yard. It can be as big as its own room, or just an extra counter with a built-in BBQ.

Fireplaces and Fire pits

A gathering spot by default once the sun sets.

What do you need in your yard?

It's really as simple as that. You can use this form to start the process.
